All'assistenza ti farebbero fare subito quello che volevo evitarti.
Un bel formattone, dicendoti di evitare di installare tutte quelle porcherie che hai installato e poi disinstallato fregandotene delle regole.
Ho passato quasi un'ora ieri sera e questa mattina sto ancora facendo ricerche per capire cosa fa sballare tutti i processi legati ai server.
Processi che hai attivato e non riesco a capire come, perché non dai informazioni su quello che hai fatto.
Non si chiudono e non si continuano a chiudere nonostante il fatto che abbiamo eliminato la causa principale.
Ho capito che si tratta, ma non so dove farti mettere le mani.
1 - Rileggendo anche il kernel.log ho notato un errore su un'estensione del kernel relativa ad IstatMenus.
Non a tutti gli utenti crea il problema.
Io per esempio dopo aver aggiornato IstatMenus non ce l'ho più, quindi aggiorna per prima cosa.
Ma se dopo trovassi ancora quel:

Scarica l'aggiornamento combinato a 10.7.3.
Scarica Pacifist.
Con Pacifist apri il pacchetto.
Portati su /System/Library/Extensions
Trova e seleziona AppleSMC.kext ed installalo sul tuo Mac cliccando sulla apposita funzione di Pacifist.
Servirà l'autorizzazione di root con password.
Esci, ripara i permessi con UtilityDisco.
Come misura aggiuntiva, ripara il disco dalla partizione di ripristino, svuota la cache del kernel, verifica lo stato smart e resetta l'SMC.
2 - Hai un residuo anche dell'installazione di Kaspersky, dovresti eliminarlo.
Dovresti eliminare anche altri residui dal pannello Utenti e gruppi, menù Elementi del login, in Preferenze di Sistema.
Questi elementi rallentano perché il sistema cerca inutilmente di trovarli ed il processo di lancio viene impegnato.
Se non basta dovrai cercarli, vedremo poi come, nelle cartelle della libreria di sistema.
3 - Hai installato Solar Service, i cui programmatori hanno pubblicato la versione per Lion con un bug non grave ma fastidiosissimo, impesta il log con gli accrediti al sistema commentati che si sono "dimenticati" di togliere dal codice.
4 - Hai dei DNS sballatissimi, dovresti usare NameBench per rettificarli.
5 - Hai le impostazioni TPC che non vanno, hai installato qualcosa che non li fa funzionare bene.
6 - Hai un errore nel portachiavi per chissà quale certificato che hai aggiunto e che fa conflitto.
7 - Non si capisce se usi una stampante Brother e perché hai ancora il software dell'HP sballato e non aggiornato, oppure disinstallato male dentro il sistema.
8 - Hai attivato iCloud, ma non lo usi, è attivo e ha delle impostazioni pessime che impegnano il sistema in una ricerca continua.
9 - Hai un identificatore di programma collegato ad un server che non funziona, qualche cosa che ha che fare (forse) con server di giochi, fa andare in bestia Spotlight.
10 - Ma la sostanza sta in questo errore:

Spiacente, è sempre male quando non si riesce a trovare il capo del filo per sbrogliare.
Il famigerato errore 5002 riguarda i collegamenti ed il software genericamente riferito ai device Apple iOS.
Quindi qualcosa che ha a che fare con il tuo iPhone, iPad.
Ma è così generico e vasto che se non è associato ad altre indicazioni è impossibile da individuare.
Visto che comunque hai un disordine abbastanza diffuso la formattazione sarà una buona cosa.
Peccato, anche con qualche rattoppo potevi aspettare Mountain Lion per una bella formattazione.
Adesso tieni il tuo sistema a dieta, non lo ingolfare con cose superflue e non necessarie.
Così eviterai di ripetere l'operazione e potrai installare OS X 10.8 con tranquillità

Ho una curiosita': se io collego al mac un hard disk esterno lo devo staccare ogni volta che lo spengo oppure non serve?lo devo espellere? Grazie

No. Se non fosse un disco d'avvio non avrà nemmeno una vaga possibilità d'entrare in conflitto. Tieni presente che verrà indicizzato e se casualmente non sarà presente le ricerche di Spotlight potrebbero risultare fallaci. L'unica cosa al lato pratico è che di massima è meglio averlo sempre acceso quando avvii i Mac ed è meglio spegnerlo (togliere l'alimentazione) dopo il Mac. Così si comporterà come se fosse un HD interno non d'avvio.
Comunque se lo espelli (tipo nel caso ti servisse l'ingresso USB per una qualche altra ragione) non fai nulla di scorretto.
