Ciao a tutti

Devo mettere un HD SATA da 750GB (va bene anche 1 TB) in un PowerMac G5. Mi interessano molto prestazioni e affidabilità per questo volevo indirizzarmi su HD di fascia enterprise. Per l'appunto stavo considerando il Western Digital WD7500AYYS o il Seagate Barracuda ES.2 ST3750330NS, il mio problema è che non sono sicuro della compatibilità col G5 visto anche la minacciosa nota riportata nel sito della Seagate:

"G5-based Macintosh computers
The SATA port on most G5 systems is based on 1.5Gb/s SATA technology and does not support a feature called Spread Spectrum Clocking (SSC). This feature is enabled in the NL35 and Barracuda ES products and is disabled by default on the Barracuda 7200.10. When choosing a drive, please take this into account and stay within the Barracuda 7200.10 family."
