TUTTI i programmi Apple non mi funzionano!

Salve a tutti,
sono in possesso di un MacBook del 2010 con sistema operativo Mac OS X 10.6.8
Ormai un mese fa ho compiuto un aggiornamento generale dei software tramite il Software Update del Mac. L'aggiornamento è avvenuto allo spegnimento del computer. Si è presentato un errore durante quel aggiornamento e da allora la maggior parte dei programmi Apple non mi si apre più (iTunes, iCal, PhotoBoot, Mail, AppStore, iMovies, GarageBand ecc.) e anche altri programmi non dell'Apple (VLC, uTorrent, VisualHub ecc.). Allora ho pensato di ri-aggiornare i programmi in questione, ma purtroppo ha smesso di funzionare anche SoftwareUpdate! Ho provato ad aprire i programmi da root o da terminale, ma nulla da fare. Io penso che siano problemi di librerie. Mi serve l'aiuto di persone più esperte di me.
