grazie gianni,
ma per un neofita come me, purtroppo serve una spiegazione più dettagliata.
in particolare: quando entro nel menù export già si pone un quesito per me: final cut pro movie o quick time, e poi che formato scegliere,
che compressore, che cosa vuole dire "MMP3A"?....
tutto quello che mi serve è esportare 10 minuti di filmato e sucessivamente creare un DVD-R.
scusate ancora per la mia ignoranza
ma è da soli 5 giorni che uso FCP3.

che differenza c'è tra "MJPEG A" e "MJPEG B"?

Bella domanda! Sara' il secondo solo un evoluzione del primo come l'H263 lo e'dell' H261 (che Apple ha lasciato insieme tanto per confondere le cose) o di algoritmi finalizati diversamente???
In ogni caso le schede video Aurora realizzano streaming 'MJPEG A' quindi lo userei senza bendarmi la testa.

E' possibile copiare un DVD su HD in OSX? Ho dei DVD e mi piacerebbe averne uno su HD senza dovermi portare dietro il DVD qundo mi serve. Su OS9 so che si può usare DVDExtractor, ma su X? Ho provato con DiskCopy ma il tentativo di creare un'immagine da un supporto fallisce.

C'e' anche un ripper serio ma non so se sia carbon e comunque funziona solo con DVD non protetti
(ti incollo una mail che mi ha mandato la softwarehouse qualche giorno fa)

Ho capito che non è possibile fare una copia di un dvd commerciale con iDvd (sia per motivi tecnici sia per motivi "legali").
Ma un dvd fatto in casa è possibile duplicarlo ?
Sarei intenzionato a prendere il nuovo iMac proprio per riversare su dvd i miei filmati e vorrei poterne fare delle copie .
Basta il software fornito con iMac o serve qualche altro programma ?

Salve a tutti, sarei intenzionato all'acquisto dell'iMac con superdrive per riversare su dvd i miei filmati registrati con una telcamera canon XM-1.
Vorrei sapere se nella conversione DV -> MPEG2 c'è perdita di qualità.
Ho sentito di una perdita di qualità soprattutto se si superano i 60 minuti di video. E vero ?
