Continuo a credere che non sia un problema di disco in assoluto, ma si è deteriorato il sistema.

Manca l'indicizzazione, hai dei programmi bloccati perché sono irrintracciabili alcune librerie ed i supporti, processi bloccati e funzionalità assenti ecc.
Credo che neanche un archivia ed installa possa risolvere il problema, ma eseguilo lo stesso e dopo reinstalla da zero.

Solo dopo potrai prendere in considerazione l'ipotesi di disco rotto.

In ogni caso, prima di tutto esegui un ripara disco (software) da utility disco del DVD d'installazione

che faccio lo faccio ora?
il pc ora sembra funzionare o quantomeno la console è molto meno attiva di prima...

Prova a fare il ripara disco dal DVD d'installazione (anche se dovrebbe averlo già fatto all'installazione) e ripeti di nuovo l'indicizzazione di Spotlight
