The greatest Apple Museum Fifth Anniversary.
di Redazione
12-05-2007

The largest collection/museum of working Apple products celebrates its fifth anniversary with a special host.

Apple I is one of the few missing pieces in (what is acknoledged also by Apple) the largest "living" Apple collection all over the world: Apple II, Lisa, Macs of any era and Newtons, eMates and even special prototypes and versions of products that never saw the light: In a special event held last Sunday the people at AllAboutApple celebrated their fantastic effort with a special gift from an italian Apple fan: a complete, working Apple I with an hand crafted wooden case: it will not be as precious as the one built directly from Woz but it could function like a bite for some users of good will who would like to donate their original Apple I to live among all it's successors, with the care it deserves.

AllAboutApple Amug (Apple user group) are the authors of a well organized museum located in Quiliano (Savona) in the North of Italy: we take you on a photo roundtrip among the many special pieces that you can find there.

We said that AllAbout Apple is the greatest Apple Museum all over the world since all its computers are fully working and you can hear their "voice", test their OS and run all the original programs. In an interesting walk trough time and technology you can compare the text based interfaces, the large boards supplying the functions you can find in the microchips of nowadays.

The museum has also a huge library of books, manuals and magazines (also in english language) brougth by donors with the many computers, PDA, accessories you can find here.
