Sì, certo.

Le informazioni che ti ho richiesto sono i contenuti delle cartelle di sistema che possono contenere tutti gli elementi critici in caso di malfunzionamenti.

I comandi di Terminale sono delle semplici richieste di stamparne un elenco, con l'esclusione di dati inutili per l'analisi e escludendo, nella maggior parte dei casi, gli elementi Apple nativi, ovviamente.

Uno contiene l'accesso come sudo, ma è solo perché non è previsto come accesso da semplice utente.

Il system.log serve per vedere le corrispondenze ed eventuali anomalie riferite a quei contenuti.

Fare queste analisi richiede un po' di tempo e poi vanno verificati, ci sono alcune cose che non riconosco come abituali e diversi errori.

Ti darò le mie impressioni una volta che avrò delle sicurezze o delle domande da fare, nel frattempo qualche altro utente potrà dare un'occhiata

Hai un sacco di roba che ritengo inutile e problematica.

Comincia con queste cose, poi riavvia.

Dammi un opinione di come va in generale, poi vedremo

- Disinstalla accuratamente Google Chrome e poi, se vuoi reinstallalo.

- Elimina il file /Library/LaunchAgents/Wlan.Software

- Disinstalla accuratamente gfxCardStatus

Vai in Monitoraggio Attività, scegli tutti processi e dimmi a che cosa corrisponde il numero 217

forse sarebbe meglio formattare e reinstallare tutto ex-novo..

ho solo un hardisk con 2 partizioni: una che utilizzo per i backup di Time Machine, e l'altra che è in FAT da 16 GB e che normalmente utilizzo per la PS3 o la tele. Posso inizializzare ed utilizzare quest'ultima per mettere Mountain Lion ?

Tenere i backup sullo stesso HD del sistema... ehm... come sopra.

A mio parere puoi risolvere i problemi di Lion e installare 10.8 sopra

(senza molti rischi aggiuntivi, puoi farlo lo stesso, ma devi mettere ordine nel sistema, prima o poi)

Se reinstalli da zero, visto che sei affezionato ai tuoi problemi e te li vuoi portare appresso, sarà meglio.

Ma dopo rimetti le cose che ritieni utili o indispensabili, UNA PER VOLTA e testa il funzionamento generale

Bhè se i problemi non sono troppi potrei anche provare a risolverli, ma non ho capito se sono solo quelli che mi hai indicato tu o ce ne sono degli altri.

Come sarebbe il disco di avvio di Mountain Lion?

Il sistema deve stare nello stesso volume dell'utente principale.

Sì, se vuoi avere un sistema reattivo e utile al lavoro, è bene installare tutto da zero.

Ti ci vuole mezza giornata dedicata, due giorni di cure per sistemarlo e in qualche giorno sarà perfetto.

Ma sei tu che hai sottocchio il tuo sistema e devi decidere.

Semmai segui queste regolette ormai codificate:

1) Appena reinstallato, struttura il sistema utenti ex novo.

Crea un nuovo utente amministratore con lo stesso nome, nome breve e password di quello che avevi.

Crea un nuovo utente amministratore di scorta, crea un nuovo utente ordinario, non cancellare l'ospite già presente.

2) Scarica le applicazioni Apple eventualmente non comprese nell'installer.

Un browser se non usi Safari.

Installale, una per volta, aprile e verifica se almeno si aprono, girano e si chiudono normalmente.

Importa i dati e ricontrolla come sopra se aprono correttamente i dati.

Riavvia e controlla i tempi di spegnimento e riaccensione.

Fai il primo backup, se tutto va bene, preferibilmente con Time Machine (DEVI avere un disco esterno di Backup, costa poco ed è indispensabile).

3) Scarica ed installa, Java, Flash/Shockwave, Perian o qualcosa che lo sostituirà, è a fine corsa, Flip4Mac, Silverlight.

Apri e chiudi il browser, riavvia.

Scarica, ex novo dal web, ed eventualmente dai dischi le applicazioni professionali e quelle di uso corrente.

Solo una per ogni tipo di attività, successivamente metterai eventuali sovrapposizioni per usi particolari.

Se corrispondono ai requisiti attuali di sistema, installali uno per uno.

Ogni gruppetto di installazioni (4/5 di quelli più corposi) riavvia e testali, aprendoli, impostando di massima le preferenze e chiudendoli.

Fai un secondo backup

4) Scarica ed installa o trascrivi le applicazioni secondarie, testale e riavvia.

Scarica ed installa o trascrivi i client e le utilità, testali e riavvia.

Se tutto va bene, completa le impostazion.

Apri Preferenze di Sistema, Utenti e gruppi, e togli da Elementi del login tutto quello che non è strettamente necessario e voluto.

Installa TechTracker, AppFresh o HackStore, fallo andare e ricordati di impostarlo automaticamente per il controllo giornaliero.

Fai un terzo backup dopo il riavvio.

5) Imposta ed esegui altre manovre, installa e modifica quel che vuoi, anche le cose un po' meno ortodosse.

puoi a questo punto modificare i default e fare del modding, sempre un po' per volta, prenditi due o tre settimane di tempo, un po' per giorno.

MA UNA PER VOLTA, lasciando del tempo tra una manovra e l'altra per testare il loro pieno e non problematico funzionamento.

Apri Preferenze di Sistema, Utenti e gruppi, e togli da Elementi del login tutto quello che non è strettamente necessario e voluto.

ok, solo alcuni dubbi

vediamo se riesco a spiegarmi bene...

perdonami anticipatamente se faccio un po' di confusione..

1) Se formatto...poi da dove prendo il nuovo SO? dovrò pur averlo salvato da qualche parte dopo averlo scaricato no?

a questo proposito chiedevo se fosse possibile utilizzare una partizione da 16GB del mio HD esterno (che, solo per il momento è in FAT, ma suppongo che dovrò cambiarla?!) per creare un disco bootable..

Da notare anche che i restanti 300 GB dell'altra partizione dell' HD esterno li utilizzo attualmente per i backups di Time Machine; non so se questo possa essere un problema..

2) È necessario creare tutti questi utenti anche se utilizzo il computer solo io ?
