A mio parere è stat una questione di trade-off... Probabilmente si sono posti questa domanda: a livello economico è più conveniente lanciare sul mercato un sistema operativo testato al 95% (per poi sfruttare gli "early-users" come beta testers) entro i termini promessi o rimandare il lancio di qualche mese e fornire un OS pronto al 99%?

ho aggiornato al 10.5.1 il mio PowerBook Aluminium G4 15" @1.5 GHz. A parte un kernel panic al primo riavvio (come avvenne anche in installazione del 10.5.0), per il resto mi pare bene...

Certo Utility Disco è sempre disastrosamente lenta, ma non concordo con tante critiche lette sopra (leggasi Stacks, Spaces, ecc.). Io uso queste novità con profitto, e ci sono varie soluzioni ad hoc (spesso freeware) per ovviare a certi problemi.
