Parallels: condivisione file e visualizzazione dvd

salve a tutti,

ho problemi nel trasferire file dal mac a windows xp su parallels.

ho provato a spuntare tutte le opzioni "spuntabili" sia su windows stesso, che da Parallels/Edit/VirtualMachine, sia da mac (cercando tramite finder l'indirizzo ip di windows), ma ogni tentativo è stato inutile..

voi avete un'altra soluzione da consigliarmi?

altro problema, di minore entità: inserendo la chiave usb questa viene correttamente visualizzata da xp; lo stesso non accade inserendo ad esempio un dvd con immagine .iso .. come mai?

Ciao, hai correttamente installato i Tools di Parallels? installandoli basta un semplice drag&drop per trasferire file da Mac a Win.

Anche per la seconda domanda credo dipenda dalla non installazione dei Tools, a me quando utilizzavo Parallels, ora sono passato a VMware decisamente più performante, qualsiasi cosa mettevo nel cassetto veniva immediatamente preso in possesso da Win e OS X manco se ne accorgeva

vorrà dire che proverò con vmware perchè parallels tools non riesco a trovarlo..

cosa non riesci a trovare? I tools di parallels li trovi nell'ambiente virtualizzato, ora non ricordo di preciso in quale menu, sono su winzozz, ma una volta avviato Parallels e con attivo Windows basta che cerchi tra i menu e li trovi subito

Dovresti avere la guida in PDF "Parallels Desktop for Mac User Guide", alla pag. 70 trovi :

To install Parallels Tools in a Windows guest OS do the following:

1 Make sure that the virtual machine configuration includes a CD/DVD-ROM drive, and it is

enabled (the Enabled check box is selected). See CD/DVD-ROM Options (page 116).

2 Start your guest operating system and log in.

3 Select Install Parallel Tools in the Actions menu.

4 The following message appears: "You can install the Parallels Tools

only if the guest operating system is running and you are

logged in. If you are not logged in now, select Cancel and

run Parallels Tools installation later." If you are logged in, click OK to

start installation.

5 Parallels Tools Setup program starts. Click Next.

6 In the Choose Destination Location dialog click Next to install Tools to the default folder.

Use the Change button to specify other location. Then click Next.

7 On the Setup Type dialog you should choose between the complete and custom setup.

The complete setup installs all of the tools available for your guest OS. If you select custom

setup, the Select Components dialog prompts you to select the desired tools from the list of

tools available for your guest OS.

8 Choose the program folder in the Select Program Folder dialog.

9 The Check Setup Information dialog displays the options selected. If they are correct, click

Next to start the installation. Wait while the Installer copies files.

10 The Installation Completed dialog prompts you to restart the computer now. For all of the

Windows guest OSes, except 98 and NT, you must restart the virtual machine after Tools

installation. Click Finish, and the virtual machine will be restarted and ready for work with

the Tools installed.

come detto, i tools non riesco a selezionarli dal menù actions in parallels e comunque tramite shared folders windows xp non mi visualizza le cartelle selezionate

tuttavia ho risolto semplicemente masterizzando i file che mi interessavano su un dvd riscrivibile e facendoli leggere a windows xp selezionando "device cd/dvd = default" in parallels
